VTG Henriot Quimper Shell Dish Hutzler Baltimore France Faience Yellow Soap Tray
This is a rare, vintage Henriot Quimper Faience Shell Shaped Dish, custom-made as an OEM piece for the historic luxury department store Hutzler's in Baltimore, Maryland.
It features a charming, entirely hand-painted scene of a traditional Breton woman in regional costume surrounded by floral motifs. The rim is decorated with a vibrant "Soleil Yellow" sponged pattern and features a unique flat bow-tie handle at the top. The foot ring has two factory-drilled holes, allowing it to be used as a trinket tray, soap dish, or easily hung as decorative wall art.
