Vtg Black Forest Style Carved Wood Stool Table Bobbin Leg Footstool Bench 23"
Description
This is an exceptional vintage hand-carved wooden stool/small side table crafted in the iconic Black Forest Style.
The top features an exquisite, deeply carved folk-art scene depicting a European country cottage under large, detailed trees next to a figure working diligently—all brought to life with superb chisel work.
The lower section boasts rare and highly sought-after bobbin turned legs (spool legs), connected by an H-shaped stretcher centered with a beautiful hand-carved floral rosette medallion. On the underside of the stretcher, original hand-written craftsman’s assembly/matching marks (such as "65" and "R18") remain intact, proving its authentic artisanal background.
