Up for sale is a beautiful vintage handmade wooden jewelry/keepsake box, dating back to around the 1970s-1980s. This piece showcases excellent craftsmanship, heavily influenced by traditional Eastern European folk art wood carving.

The hinged lid features an intricate, geometric starburst design made with contrasting wood inlay tones and fine chip-carved detailing. The front and back lower rims are accented with a lovely scalloped/waved hand-carved border. The interior reveals the natural, unlined beauty of the wood grain. It is a perfect, handsome accent for a vanity, dresser, or desk to store jewelry, watches, keys, or special mementos.
