Vintage Tissot Frescomint Candy Tin Empty Metal France Cresca NY Mint Drops

This is a fantastic vintage empty candy tin for "FRESCOMINT" drops by Tissot (Confiseur - Paris). Made in France and imported by Cresca Co. Inc., Bronx, New York. The lid features a beautifully detailed botanical lithograph illustration of a mint plant with reddish flowers, set against a highly unique background pattern of pill-shaped mint candies. The sides feature a light blue band. A wonderful display piece for vintage advertising, botanical motif lovers, or tin collectors.

Condition

• Pre-owned vintage condition. Sold AS-IS.

• Exterior: Shows typical signs of age including surface scratches, scuffs, edge wear, and minor paint loss/yellowing around the side blue band and rims.

• Interior / Residue Notice: As clearly shown in the photos, there is hard, dark melted candy residue heavily stuck inside the rim and crevices of the bottom base, as well as some dark spotting under the lid. We have not attempted to aggressively clean it to avoid damaging the vintage metal. Selling strictly for collection or display purposes, not for food storage.
