Vintage La Vosgienne French Raspberry Candy Tin Empty Metal France

This is a charming vintage empty candy tin from the famous French confectioner La Vosgienne for their "Les Framboises" (French Raspberry Drops). Made in Saint-Quentin, France. The lid features a beautiful botanical illustration of raspberries surrounding a gold emblem. The sides have a lovely green leaf pattern, and the gold-tone bottom lists other candy varieties offered by the company. A great piece for vintage advertising or tin collectors.

Condition

• Pre-owned vintage condition. Sold AS-IS.

• Exterior: Shows typical signs of age including surface scratches, minor scuffs, and some yellowing/discoloration along the side leaf pattern. No major dents. The text on the bottom is clear and readable.

• Interior / Residue Notice: As clearly shown in the photos, there is a significant amount of hard, dark melted candy residue stuck to the inside of both the base and the lid. We have not attempted to aggressively clean it to avoid damaging the vintage metal. Selling strictly for collection or display purposes, not for food storage.
