Vintage Spanish Majolica Ceramic Wall Plate Blue Yellow Sicily Coat of Arms 10.5"
This is a beautiful vintage Spanish Majolica (Talavera style) tin-glazed ceramic decorative wall plate, hand-painted in Spain. The central motif features a historical heraldic coat of arms representing the Kingdom of Sicily (the alliance of the Crown of Aragon's vertical pales and the Hohenstaufen dynasty's eagles).
The plate is decorated with a vibrant, classic Mediterranean palette of cobalt blue and ochre yellow accents against a creamy off-white tin glaze. The intricate geometric and scroll patterns frame the central shield perfectly. The back of the plate features a pre-drilled foot rim, making it ready to hang as a striking piece of rustic wall art or Mediterranean home decor.
