This elegant vintage music box features a Swiss-made Reuge 18-note movement , housed in a handcrafted Italian inlaid wooden case with a lute and floral marquetry design.

Unlike typical models that start with lid opening, this piece uses a front metal slide button to control the start/stop of the music. When wound, it plays Chopin's beloved Tristesse (Étude Op.10 No.3) .
