Vintage Puritas Water Wood Crate Huckleberry Hound Kellogg's Ad 1950s CA KTTV 11
Up for sale is a rare piece of Southern California history: an original vintage Puritas Water wooden delivery crate accompanied by an incredibly rare Huckleberry Hound promotional advertisement.
Puritas (Arrowhead and Puritas Waters Inc.) used these heavy-duty crates to transport 5-gallon glass carboys. This particular set features a vintage paper ad featuring the iconic Hanna-Barbera character, Huckleberry Hound. The ad promotes the show sponsored by Kellogg's on KTTV Channel 11 at 7 PM on Tuesdays, dating this piece specifically to the late 1950s or early 1960s.
This is a fantastic "crossover" collectible appealing to buyers of vintage advertising, dairy/water crates, and animation history. Perfect for rustic home decor or as a historical museum-quality display piece.
