A vibrant hand-painted Talavera-style ceramic chalice from Mexico, featuring richly colored floral and scroll motifs in yellow, green, blue, and rust red over a cream-white glaze. The form is elegant and classical, with twin scrolled handles on each side and a pedestal base.
This piece shows fine craftsmanship typical of mid-20th century Mexican folk pottery inspired by Spanish colonial majolica traditions. There is a restored area at the base , along with light age-related crazing and small glaze flakes consistent with vintage wear.
