Vintage Mexican Folk Art Pottery Tree of Life Peacock Candle Holder Wall Sconce
Item Description
This is a rare and beautiful vintage Mexican Folk Art ceramic "Tree of Life" (Árbol de la Vida) candle holder, uniquely designed as a wall sconce. It features a central majestic peacock surrounded by charming little birds and dimensional flowers. Unlike the common free-standing versions, this piece has a flat back meant for wall or post mounting.
The heavy, naturally weathered "chippy white" painted finish has chipped away beautifully over the decades, revealing glimpses of its original vibrant Mexican green, blue, yellow, and earthy brown pigments underneath. This gives the piece an authentic, irreplaceable rustic shabby chic appeal, perfect for modern farmhouse, bohemian, or eclectic garden decor.
