Material Thick-walled Terracotta / Unglazed Natural Clay.

Condition Heavily weathered, highly rustic vintage condition. As noted, extreme natural weathering has worn away the pattern on the lower half of the pot, creating a gorgeous, highly textured "crusty" surface that cannot be artificially replicated. The carved fern/leaf pattern on the upper half remains intact and beautiful. Displays significant earthy patina, surface flaking, and soil residue from years of outdoor use. It is exceptionally heavy (14.5 lbs) and structurally sound with no major through-cracks. Features a bottom drainage hole.
