Vintage La Vosgienne Cassis Black Currant Candy Tin Empty Metal Box France

This is a beautiful vintage empty candy tin from the famous French confectioner La Vosgienne for their "Les Cassis" (French Black Currant Drops). Made in St. Quentin, France. The lid features a lovely botanical illustration of black currants framed by a classic gold border. The sides are decorated with an elegant gold scroll pattern, and the gold-tone bottom lists other candy varieties offered by the company. A wonderful display piece for vintage advertising or tin collectors.

• Pre-owned vintage condition. Sold AS-IS.

• Exterior: Shows typical signs of age including surface scratches, scuffs, edge wear, and minor tarnishing/rust spots along the rims. The graphics and text remain clear and highly displayable.

• Interior / Residue Notice: As clearly shown in the photos, there is hard, dark melted candy residue stuck to the inside of both the base and the lid. We have not attempted to aggressively clean it to avoid damaging the vintage metal. Selling strictly for collection or display purposes, not for food storage.
