Vintage Korean Bongsan Talchum Mask Dance Figures Hand Painted Folk Art Set of 5

This is a fantastic set of 5 vintage hand-painted figures depicting characters from the traditional Korean mask dance drama known as "Bongsan Talchum." Each miniature statue is brightly painted in traditional Korean colors, capturing the dynamic and expressive poses of the theatrical dance. From left to right, the characters and their heights are:

1. Chwibari (Approx. 3.5" H): The red-faced old bachelor/drunkard.

2. Somu (Approx. 3.75" H): The white-faced young shaman/concubine.

3. Nojang (Approx. 3.5" H): The old, venerable monk wearing a hat who succumbs to temptation.

4. Mokjung (Approx. 3.25" H): The dark-faced depraved monk.

5. Mokjung (Approx. 3.25" H): Another dark-faced depraved monk. This set is a wonderful representation of Korean cultural heritage and makes a great addition to any Asian folk art or traditional mask collection.
