Vintage Italy White Ceramic Three Wise Monkeys Statue Hollywood Regency MCM

Up for auction/sale is a stunning Vintage Italian White Ceramic "Three Wise Monkeys" Figurine. This exquisite mid-century piece beautifully represents the classic "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil" philosophy.

Crafted in Italy during the 1960s to 1970s, this statue features a brilliant, high-gloss white glaze that captures the light beautifully, making it a perfect addition to any Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century Modern, or Eclectic interior decor.

Unlike traditional expressionless monkey statues, these monkeys are masterfully sculpted with subtle, intelligent smiles, adding a unique charm and sophisticated artistic quality to the piece. The back retains its original vintage paper label reading "MADE IN ITALY", and the bottom features the handwritten incised mark "1891M ITALY".

Condition Report

This is a genuine vintage item over 50 years old and is in Good Vintage Condition with beautiful gloss retention. Please note the following points (also shown in photos):

• There is a small chip on the lip/mouth of the monkey covering its eyes (left monkey).

• There is a small chip on the left foot/base area of the same monkey.

• The base shows expected minor shelf wear, aging, and original kiln manufacturing holes/marks.

• Original paper label on the back shows aging/peeling but remains intact. No major cracks or extensive crazing detected. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully as they form part of the visual description.
