Inspired by the form of traditional North Indian "Parat" dough-kneading platters, this piece features wonderful artistic dualism—the turtle's head is carved with a simplified, charmingly enigmatic face reminiscent of indigenous tribal spirit masks from Southeast Asia and Pacific cultures. The thick rim is adorned with hand-hewn geometric circle and wave motifs, while the hefty profile and bold underside chisel marks emphasize its rustic, authentic craftsmanship.
