Description
Vintage 1950s Gilner Pottery Teddy Bear Cookie Jar - Model #405 Made in USA
Up for auction/sale is a charming piece of mid-century American pottery: an authentic vintage Gilner Pottery Brown Teddy Bear Cookie Jar. Produced during the 1950s by Gilner Potteries in Culver City, California, this whimsical, anthropomorphic bear is one of their most highly sought-after kitchen collectibles.
Features an incredibly expressive, mischievous face with classic bright blue eyes, a pink tongue licking his lips, and adorable pink paw pads. The texturing of the brown fur adds a wonderful depth to the piece.
