The tray surface features a rich mahogany-tone Formica laminate, surrounded by a bright metal edge that appears to be silver-plated.
The original "This is genuine Formica" sticker remains intact, featuring the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval — a hallmark of mid-century quality.

The rim was thoroughly cleaned with a gentle chemical polish and lightly buffed afterward to restore its shin.
Please note: there are multiple fine scratches and areas of wear on the silver-plated surface, as well as minor marks on the laminate top consistent with age and use.
