This is a vintage Empire "Travl-Mate" 4-Cup Portable Coffeemaker Kit (Model 1660-28) in the classic retro "Almond" color, manufactured by The Metal Ware Corp in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. This unique travel appliance is designed for dual-voltage operation: 12-Volt DC for cars, boats, and camping, and 120-Volt AC for home or motel use. The kit includes the original retail box with its inner cardboard dividers and the metal holding bracket designed to keep the pot secure while traveling. A fantastic piece of 1980s Americana for vintage roadside/camping collectors or display.

- Cosmetic Notes: The item was found heavily covered in dust and has been lightly wiped down. The original cardboard box and paper manual show permanent stains, age-related yellowing, dust marks, and shelf wear. The plastic parts may have very slight, natural age discoloration.
