Vintage Arrowhead Puritas 5 Gallon Glass Water Bottle Carboy Wood Crate 1962
Description
Up for sale is a highly collectible Vintage 1962-1963 Arrowhead Puritas Waters Inc. 5-Gallon Glass Carboy (Water Jug) complete with its Original Wooden Delivery Crate.
This is a phenomenal piece of mid-century Southern California industrial history. Unlike standard plain jugs, this specific bottle features a gorgeous, large embossed octagonal "Arrowhead Puritas Waters Inc" logo right on the front, along with the classic geometric rings of embossed arrowheads around the top and bottom shoulders. The bottom of the bottle is clearly embossed with "Arrowhead and Puritas Waters Inc" and the date code "62-3", pinpointing its manufacture to the 1962–1963 era.
The glass displays a stunning vintage aqua-blue tint that catches the light beautifully. Perfect for retro kitchen display, cafe or restaurant rustic decor, industrial farmhouse styling, or as an impressive floor vase for large botanical branches.
