Vintage Arrowhead Puritas 5 Gallon Glass Water Bottle Carboy Wood Crate 1975
Description
Up for sale is a highly collectible Vintage 1975 Arrowhead Puritas Waters Inc. 5-Gallon Glass Carboy (Water Jug) complete with its Original Wooden Delivery Crate.
This is an exceptional, investment-grade piece of Southern California pop-culture and television history. The thick, beautiful aqua-tinted glass features the geometric ring of embossed arrowheads around the top and bottom shoulders. The bottom of the bottle is clearly embossed with "ARROWHEAD PURITAS WATERS 75" indicating its 1975 manufacture date.
Most importantly for collectors, this bottle retains its extremely rare, original promotional paper label featuring a phenomenal tie-in advertisement for the legendary, cult-classic TV variety program "The Gong Show" on KTTV Channel 11 (Metromedia) airing "11 PM Weeknights". The graphic and logo remain remarkably bright and legible.
Perfect for industrial rustic farmhouse decor, pop-culture memorabilia collections, home brewing, or as a stunning mid-century statement display piece.
