Vintage Arrowhead Puritas 5 Gallon Glass Water Bottle Carboy Wood Crate 1973 (Damage)
Description
Up for sale is a highly collectible Vintage 1973 Arrowhead Puritas Waters Inc. 5-Gallon Glass Carboy (Water Jug) complete with its Original Wooden Delivery Crate.
This is an exceptional piece of Southern California pop-culture and industrial history. The thick, beautiful aqua-tinted glass features the geometric ring of embossed arrowheads around the top and bottom shoulders. The bottom of the bottle is clearly embossed with "ARROWHEAD PURITAS WATERS 73" indicating its 1973 manufacture date.
Most importantly for collectors, this bottle retains its extremely rare, original promotional paper label featuring a tie-in advertisement for the legendary KNBC Channel 4 TV game show "Name That Tune" hosted by Tom Kennedy (airing Mondays at 7:00 p.m.).
Perfect for industrial rustic farmhouse decor, home brewing, or as a stunning mid-century statement display piece.
