This French Renaissance Revival style trestle table features exquisitely carved, three-dimensional winged cherub/angel heads highlighted with beautiful gold patina accents on both sides. While this specific furniture model typically features an inset marble top, this piece is uniquely constructed with a solid wood top—a common modification made by studio scene shops to reduce weight for quick set changes and to minimize clashing audio feedback from production equipment on set.
The underside of the table boasts impeccable provenance with three studio-marking generations:
- An original antique die-cast metal tag stamped: "UNIV. PIC. CO. INC. N52-444"
- Vintage handwritten grease pencil studio inventory/sale notation on the stretcher: "UP Co. 2/017 / $150.00 MM"
- A modern barcoded asset sticker reading: "UCS, INC. - PROPERTY DEPT. 50356" (Universal City Studios).
A true museum-quality centerpiece for any cinema memorabilia collector or antique enthusiast.

- Tabletop: The wood surface shows overall cosmetic scratches, scuffs, and minor lacquer lifting/peeling on the finish as shown in the photos.
- Carvings & Base: There is a minor blemish/paint loss on the tip of one cherub's nose (showing the reddish undercoat). The scrollwork on the lower feet shows typical scuffing and a historic wood chip that was stabilized with a vintage putty repair.
- Underside Glides: The bottom of the feet features protective metal glide cushions (two per foot). Please note that one metal glide is missing from one of the feet, while the other seven remain intact.
Structurally sound and completely stable. All imperfections tell the unique story of its cinematic history.
