A beautiful set of three vintage Japanese decorative plates from the 1970s-80s. Each plate features the Art of Chokin, the ancient craft of metal engraving once used to decorate Samurai armor. The delicate designs of an owl and peacocks are gilded in gold and silver, framed by an elegant 24K gold trim. Signed by artists Keigetsu and Shuzan.
