A rare and historically significant Asian-style wooden display stand, definitively identified as the original base for the esteemed Edward Marshall Boehm limited edition porcelain sculpture, "The Galloping Horse" (P.R.C.1). This piece was part of a 1978 collection commemorating US-China artistic friendship. The stand features a unique top platform with a carved recess that perfectly fits the statue's base.
