Historical Provenance (Dating to the 1930s)
The original label on the underside identifies the factory location as "300 Hall St.". This specific factory in Grand Rapids was closed and demolished in 1938, confirming that this stool was manufactured prior to the late 1930s. VanderLey Brothers were celebrated for their high-quality period reproductions, including furniture for the film Gone with the Wind (1939).

Condition Report
Seat: The hand-stitched needlepoint displays a classic floral motif. Please note minor age-related staining on the fabric surface.
