Rare 1930s-50s Boho Rattan Circle Shelf | 6-Tier Wicker Plant Stand Masterpiece

An exceptionally rare round rattan display shelf,
representing the Mid-Century Tropical style of the 1950s.

This sculptural piece features a six-tier configuration —
four shelves on the sides and two vertically aligned center shelves —
arranged radially within a perfectly circular frame.

Although entirely handcrafted, the shelf exhibits remarkably precise symmetry,
both horizontally and vertically, demonstrating the high level of craftsmanship
achieved by skilled artisans of the period.

The honey-toned rattan poles have been steam-bent and joined using
traditional wrapped binding techniques, creating a structure that is both elegant and strong.

The shelf surfaces are finished with finely woven wicker rattan,
while the reverse sides are reinforced with wooden panels,
allowing for stable and practical display despite the lightweight construction.

Ideal as a display shelf, magazine rack, retail fixture, or sculptural accent piece.

・One shelf shows two small breaks in the rattan weave, visible upon close inspection.
