Burleigh Ware Cobalt Blue Gilt Cabinet Plates Set of 3 Crown Pottery England

A lovely set of three vintage decorative plates produced by
Burleigh Ware / Crown Pottery, Burslem, England.

These plates feature a rich cobalt blue glazed ground with an Oriental-style scenic design depicting pavilions, bridges, flowering trees, and birds.
The decoration is enhanced with gilt accents and overglaze enamel painting, finished with elegant scalloped edges.

Based on the backstamp and decorative style, these plates date to approximately the late 1930s to early 1950s.

Measuring approximately 8.5 inches square, they are best suited as cabinet or display plates, rather than everyday dinnerware.

Condition
Very good vintage condition overall.
No cracks or chips observed.
The overglaze enamel and gilt decoration show light wear and small areas of enamel loss, consistent with age and normal use.
These signs of wear do not detract from the overall visual appeal.
