"I believe it was manufactured by the Duquesne Works (Pittsburgh region)
of the United States Steel Corporation, as the top lid is stamped ‘Duquesne IX Hammered Open Hearth.' The back of the bed pan has a hinged lid that opens and closes. I think it's from the 1910s to 1930s. Since there is no available information about this bed pan, it may be rare."
