This is an exceptional and highly detailed antique European (Dutch/English style) repoussé embossed copper planter/cachepot, dating back to around the late 19th to early 20th century.
- Intricate Relief Artwork: The entire circumference features a beautiful, deeply embossed nostalgic country scene depicting two children playing with a dog under a thatched barn roof, accompanied by a cat resting on the roof. The upper rim is adorned with a stunning, continuous floral and fruit garland relief.
- Sturdy Double-Wall Design: Features a heavy-duty metal inner insert and stands beautifully on three ornate cast metal feet. Perfect for modern cottagecore, farmhouse, or traditional antique decor.

- Inner Insert (Please Read): The metal inner insert is fixed/stuck to the copper body and cannot be removed. Consequently, the condition of the hidden area between the insert and the outer copper shell has not been verified. The visible inside of the insert shows historical wear, surface rust, and soil residue appropriate for its age, but remains structurally intact with no major holes.
- Exterior: Gorgeous, authentic aged patina with natural darkening and faint verdigris in the recessed details that enhances the relief artwork. There is a minor vintage seam separation/warp typical of hand-assembled antique metalware, but it remains visually stunning.
- Bottom & Feet: All three ornamental feet are securely attached. The bottom shows natural scuffing and dirt accumulation from age. Sold as-is in beautiful antique condition. Please see all photos for details.
