Antique Cast Iron Oak Leaf Stove Top Cover Kettle Stand Garden Urn Base 10.75"
Description
This is a beautiful, highly ornate antique/vintage cast iron decorative stove top cover / kettle stand featuring a stunning raised Oak Leaf and Scroll pattern around its wide rim.
Given its heavy-duty solid construction and the specific center recessed design (with a 6.75" fitting area), this historic architectural salvage piece originally served as a decorative top component and kettle/trivet stand for a vintage parlor heating stove (wood or coal stove) from the late 19th to early 20th century. The recessed ring was specifically designed to securely hold a tea kettle, water humidifier, or a domed finial lid. It may also have been utilized as a base for a classical European garden urn planter.
It boasts a fantastic rustic charm and an authentic weathered look. While highly collectible as a vintage stove replacement part, it is also perfect for modern reuse as a functional heavy-duty plant saucer, a unique candle display stand, or a striking industrial farmhouse accent piece for both indoor and outdoor rustic decor.
