This is a rare, true antique wooden folding table, likely dating back to the late 19th or early 20th century. It features a beautiful, naturally aged reddish-brown finish and classic turned (spindle) legs. What makes this piece special is its primitive folding mechanism underneath, utilizing wooden lever supports and metal wire tensioners—a design strongly reminiscent of early patent furniture or campaign style pieces of the 1800s.
