Up for sale is a highly collectible and beautifully preserved 1948 Singer Model 221 Featherweight Sewing Machine complete with its rare matching original Folding Sewing Card Table. Famous as a "quilter's dream," this vintage iconic straight-stitch machine features a glossy black finish and elegant gold leaf decals.
The accompanying folding table features an original insert lid that perfectly matches the wood grain of the tabletop. Crucially, the serial numbers on both the table and the insert lid match, confirming it is an authentic factory-matched set. The sewing machine motor runs exceptionally well, strong and smooth (video available upon request). This turnkey vintage bundle is perfect for avid sewists, quilters, and antique collectors alike.

Condition Report
- Sewing Machine: Serial Number AH663091 (Manufactured in 1948). The motor runs excellently with plenty of power. The sewing light and housing are in working order. There are minor surface scratches on the sewing bed consistent with regular vintage use (see close-up photos).
- Important Note on Bobbin Case: The original bobbin case (and bobbin) is currently missing and not included. However, high-quality modern reproduction bobbin cases are readily and widely available online for around $30, making this a very affordable and easy fix for anyone looking to use this machine for active sewing or quilting.
- Power Cord & Controller: Features the original vintage SIMANCO 194584 foot controller and the original-style terminal connectors. Please note that the wall power plug (the male connector that plugs into the wall outlet) has been updated and replaced with a modern style plug for improved safety and perfect compatibility with modern household outlets.
- Sewing Table: Shows vintage wear, including minor scuffs, surface scratches, and a slight watermark on the tabletop, as well as a small chip on the side corner. The cutout insert lid is completely original with matching wood grain and shares the exact same serial number as the table.
- Carrying Case: Shows cosmetic wear, edge lifting, and surface scratches on the exterior consistent with age. The interior includes the built-in side tray section. The original key is NOT included.
- Accessories: Comes with an impressive assortment of vintage sewing attachments (including a Universal Buttonholer, various presser feet), original manuals/booklets, vintage household oil tin, and green attachment box as shown in the photos.
